Kwara Speaker distributes 220 JAMB forms to indigent students

Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ali Ahmad has distributed Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms to 220 indigent students in his Ilorin South Constituency.

The gesture spread across the 11wards in the Constituency equally had the beneficiaries registration being paid for by the legislator.

The JAMB forms presentation is among several other scholarship programmes and gestures usually embarked on by the legislator.

Speaking, Ahmad said that the future of Ilorin South youths is very paramount to him, hence the reason he was always ready to render assistance to them either for their educational pursuits or to be self-dependence.

The Speaker who underscored the importance of education noted that it is essential that governments at all levels are supported towards improving the sector and secure the country's future.

According to him, "the annual gesture has become a tradition that is critically being followed", adding that he was delighted to be contributing positively to the beneficiaries' future.

Ahmad also admonished the students to prepare very well for the forthcoming tertiary institutions entrance examination.

In the same vein, Ahmad has advised the youths to avail themselves the opportunity of the internet facilities at his Constituency Office to register in the on-going advertisement placed online by Dangote Group of Companies seeking employees for various vacant positions.

He further advised them not to limit themselves to watching the weekly European football matches at the office but use the facilities to browse free of charge for other numerous opportunities.
